SSC(Staff Selection Commission) chairmen desk has released a official notice regarding the SSC CHSL 2017 exam cheating case and the preventive measures taken.


The Notice Reads..

The Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level (Tier-I)Examination 2017 is being conducted by the Staff SelectionCommission for 61,52,068 candidates across the countryfrom 4.3.2018 to 28.3.2018. The Commission has taken allnecessary steps, including elaborate security arrangements toensure the smooth conduct of the examination. CentralIndustrial Security Force has been deployed at the sensitivevenues to ensure thorough frisking of the candidates. Till6.3.2018, 2,89,369 candidates have already taken theexamination, which is being conducted peacefully without anyuntoward incident.
2. The Commission was informed that in the morning Shifton 7.3.2018, at one venue namely R.S. Digital, Patna, acandidate was found indulging in unfair means with theassistance of a Test Administrator. The Commission has takena serious view of the incident and has cancelled thecandidature of the candidate with immediate effect and hasalso initiated criminal proceedings against the candidate andthe Test Administrator. Furthermore, as an additionalsafeguard, all examination functionaries of the aforesaid venueare being changed w.e.f. 8.3.2018.
3. In the overall context, the Commission has upscaled itsvigilance and security arrangements at all venues of theongoing examination, with the support of the State/ UTGovernments.
